Application for admission can be made by the individual client, or a client's chosen representative. An assessment can then be arranged within 48 hours. An assessment will usually require the client to attend Haines House. Under special circumstances an assessment may take place at another place i.e. prison. The assessment process and treatment plan addresses physical health, mental state, nature and history of alcohol/drug problems and availability of support systems as well as a range of lifestyle factors. Clients are funded by Housing Benefit and Supporting People and retain their personal Benefit for living expenses.
